The 33rd edition of the Annual Seminar on Automation, Industrial Electronics and Instrumentation (SAAEI’26) will take place on July 8, 9, and 10, 2026 in Gijón, organized by the Power Electronics Systems Group (SEA) of the University of Oviedo.

SAAEI is an annual conference aimed at researchers and companies at the national level, providing a forum to share research results, exchange ideas, and build consortia for future projects with greater effectiveness and impact. The conference seeks contributions describing original work in the fields of automation, electronics, and instrumentation. The official languages of the conference will be Spanish or English.

The conference is structured into thematic areas designed to organize the presentations, bringing together researchers working in similar fields and facilitating the exchange of ideas and dissemination of research results.

Located on the northern coast of Spain, Gijón combines maritime tradition, culture, gastronomy, and technology. The conference will take place next to the seafront promenade of San Lorenzo Beach, one of the city’s main attractions.
