Congress Venue
The 33rd edition of the Annual Seminar on Automation, Industrial Electronics and Instrumentation (SAAEI’2026) will be held in the city of Gijón on July 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2026.
The SAAEI’26 will take place at the Hotel Abba Playa Gijón and the Hotel NH Gijón, both located along the seafront promenade and San Lorenzo beach, just a few minutes from the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Gijón, part of the University of Oviedo.
Both venues offer modern facilities and a privileged location combining comfort, sea views, and proximity to the main attractions of the city.
Organization
The congress is organized by the Power Electronics Systems Group (SEA) of the University of Oviedo, based at the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Gijón. The SEA group focuses its research activity on power electronics, working closely with industry and national and international research centers.

Hotel Abba Playa Gijón
Located just a few meters from the NH Hotel, the Abba Playa Gijón offers modernity and comfort in a privileged seaside setting. It features large halls and versatile spaces, ideal for hosting the various congress sessions.
This hotel will host the technical sessions, the plenary lectures, and the EXPOSAAEI.
Hotel NH Gijón
The NH Gijón Hotel is located in front of San Lorenzo beach and next to Isabel La Católica Park. It offers spacious meeting rooms, garden areas, and panoramic views of the Cantabrian Sea.
This hotel will host the conference working lunches.
