Post-Congress Activities
Given the time of year, we have prepared two special activities to enjoy after the congress. Below you will find the information about each of them.
Friday, October 10 – Visit to Cabo Peñas
The first post-congress activity will be a visit to Cabo Peñas, the northernmost point of Asturias, where the cliffs and lighthouse offer spectacular views of the Cantabrian Sea. It will be an afternoon to relax, enjoy the landscape, and breathe in the sea air.
Saturday, October 11 – Excursion to the Asturian Mountains: Los Alpes Tuizos
On Saturday, we will enjoy an excursion through the spectacular surroundings of Los Alpes Tuizos, in the Peña Ubiña massif, one of the most emblematic and beautiful areas of the Asturian mountains. This route offers different levels of difficulty, so all participants will find an option suited to their fitness level.
- Level 0: Tuiza de Arriba, at 1,223 m (1h 15m from Gijón).
- Level 1: Refugio del Meicín, at 1,560 m (+337 m). Easy path.
- Level 2: Peña Cerreos, at 2,111 m (+888 m). Grass and rock trails.
- Level 3: Peña Ubiña, at 2,417 m (+1,194 m). Easy climbs (helmet recommended).
- Level 4: Peña Ubiña + Peña Cerreos (+1,417 m).
