The SAAEI is the reference conference of the Spanish PEIESC chapter of the Power Electronics Society (PELS) and Industrial Electronics Society (IES), and of the Spanish I&M chapter of the Instrumentation and Measurement Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). These chapters (and through them, the aforementioned societies) endorse the scientific content of the conference.

The conference is financially supported by the registration fees paid by the attendees themselves, also counting on the invaluable help of public and private entities that vary depending on the entity that organizes each edition and that appear on the pages corresponding to said edition.
