High Fidelity EV Drive HIL Simulation | Ponente: Henrique Figueira (Typhoon) This presentation consists of a model of an electric vehicle (EV), an induction motor, and a Li-ion battery. It demonstrates the use of ready-to-use power electronics and microgrid components in order to build a high-fidelity, system-level application. The Signal Processing toolbox is used to implement the powertrain controller and the mechanical load model.
Electric vehicle charging according to standard IEC62196 – mode 3 | Ponente: Juliano Grigulo (Typhonn) This presentation accompanies the Electric vehicle AC charging example. Will be presented a short introduction on EV charging, the types of connectors, and the IEC62196 definitions. For this example, the AC charger will be covered. The procedure of signaling on the contact pilot (CP) pin for AC charging according to IEC62196 – mode 3. The model describes the whole EV charging infrastructure: Electric Vehicle, Cable, Charging station, and Public Grid.
